Oregon star De’Anthony Thomas is questionable to play Saturday against Colorado after spraining his left ankle while returning the opening kickoff in last Saturday’s game against Cal. He left the game and did not return.
Update: Reports are saying Thomas is unlikely to play Saturday against Colorado.
Fantasy Outlook: Thomas is working to get back on the field Saturday but if he isn’t able to go, Byron Marshall is a must start. Marshall carried the ball 19 times for 130 yards and two scores while replacing Thomas last week. The Ducks are a 38 point favorite this week against Colorado. Look for Marshall to rack up plenty of yards early. Also, freshman Thomas Tyner should be in for a pretty good day so those deeper leagues could look to pick him up if Thomas isn’t able to go.
With the news of Thomas not playing, Marshall is a must start this week.
