Louisiana-Monroe quarterback Kolton Browning is out for the rest of the season due to a torn quad suffered in the loss to Tulane. He was one of the reasons the Warhawks had success against some of the better teams in 2012. He threw for over 3,000 yards and ran for over 400 so his loss will be felt.
Fantasy Outlook: Hopefully you didn’t reach too far to get Browning in your draft as you should have a pretty solid backup now. He most likely wasn’t even your starter so this probably won’t affect many of you. In deeper leagues though, this one may sting a little. The good news is that there are a few QBs out there that are most likely available in your leagues. Joe Southwick from Boise State is a decent one to lean on if you are in dire need of a QB.
