Statistical Breakdown: YPA (Yards Per Attempt)

This is one of my first posts of the season as I have been working on depth charts, rankings, etc. I want to dive into specific statistics from last season as they may help some with projecting success for this season. The first one I want to discuss is the YPA stat or yards per attempt. It really can determine how value a quarterback is. Of course, the stat can be flawed as a QB can go 2-10 with 100 yards. that would be a great 10 YPA but not really a great performance. The stat generally will work itself out over time and can really be valuable as it is different from yards per completion (YPC). Basically, is the guy getting the most out of every pass attempt. So with that here are the top 25 returning players in YPA from 2013.
