T.J. Yeldon to Miss First Quarter Against Colorado State

Alabama running back T.J. Yeldon will sit out the first quarter against Colorado State as punishment for the “throat slash” penalty in the game against Texas A&M. Earlier this week, Yeldon submitted a written apology for his actions saying,

“I want to apologize to everyone for my selfish actions on Saturday. That is not the way I want to represent myself, my family and our team. That is not the way we do things at Alabama. This is something that I will learn from, and I will use better judgment in the future.”

Fantasy Outlook: Yeldon will only be missing a quarter of a game that Alabama is a 40 point favorite in. With the talent that the Crimson Tide have at their  disposal, this loss shouldn’t affect the outcome of this game. If you are looking for a sleeper play this week, Kenyan Drake may be a very strong play as he is the favorite to be the starter at running back. He gets a decent amount of carries even with Yeldon playing, so Drake could really take advantage of the extra work he will get early on in this one. If you are in need of a RB2 or a Flex option this week, Kenyan Drake may be a good play.
